Quickstart
Set up the workspace, add your first client, create work, and send an invoice with fees visible before anything is charged.
Before you start
- Use the business name and email your clients already recognize.
- Have your country, currency, and tax details ready if you plan to invoice live clients.
- Connect payment details only when you are ready to receive real payouts.
Recommended setup
- Create your account and complete onboarding so Filary can set language, country, and business defaults.
- Add a client with the details you need later: email, notes, business context, and billing information.
- Create a project in Work. Keep scope, tasks, due dates, and status in the same place as the client.
- Create an invoice from the work or from scratch. Review line items, taxes, discounts, fees, and the amount expected after fees.
- Send the invoice only after the preview matches what you intend to charge.
- Track the payment, payout timing, and any follow-up from the invoice record.
Use demo data first
If you are evaluating Filary, start with demo records before sending live invoices. A serious billing system should be tested with harmless data before it touches real clients.
